Beth Ann (Stella York 6642)

So I originally met my bride, Beth Ann, when she was in a friend's wedding! I altered a wedding dress for her best friend back in June of 2018 and the bride was so pleased with how we handled her bridal gown, she recommended Beth Ann bring me a bridesmaid dress to see if I could work a little magic.

We took this original bridesmaid dress that was not only too tight in literally every area and WAY too revealing, to a tastefully modest flowy bridesmaid dress! Beth Ann was so pleased and so excited, when it came time to alter her wedding dress, she contacted me months in advance just to make sure I was available! Obviously there was no one else she trusted with THE DRESS! Don't believe me? Check out our portfolio page to see the magic we worked as her #sewingfairygodmother .

Settling on Howe Farms as the backdrop for her perfect September wedding, Beth Ann found the dress of her dreams at local bridal boutique Ever After in Cleveland, TN. When she brought the dress to me, it was a smidgen too long and needed a little more support in the chest, so we set to work! First, I took the dress in a little at not only the bustline but the rib cage as well to lend her as much support as possible, while also adding in some good, supportive bra cups! With a tiny nip off the bottom of the hem to get that perfect, brushing the ground look, we only had to add a bustle and Beth Ann's dress was ready for her big day!

Okay, Okay, enough about the boring alterations!
